So pretty!! Thanks for sharing. I will actually be going to Tokyo on the 24th od December. Do you know when the lights end? Thank u!!

Some places (most of the case, inside shopping malls) stop Christmas illuminations on the 26th of December. But the outside place (like these pictures were taken) keep illuminations on until around mid January or even Valentine's day (2/14).

I wonder how Christmas in Malaysia…no Christmas because of different religion?

      • nekomeow December 2, 2010 at 10:33 am #

haha~ no white Christmas here in Malaysia.. some of us still celebrate it but is a "tropical" Christmas 😛
Christmas Day is a public holiday and is celebrated by Christians throughout Malaysia.
Malaysia has a population of 25 million. Muslims are 53%; Christians are 6.5 %. (reference from net)
i not Christians but i will celebrate with my Christians friends and usually we have Christmas party too~ ^_^

There are some places here that are increidble. We have a couple of neighborhoods near my house that people drive through just to look at the lights. If I get the opportunity, I will take pictures and post them.

Yes, please. It's OK if the size is larger than 480×360, but just don't make it too large like 2000, if you ever need to send it.

Wowww…. I live in rural countryside. We have like 3 little lit up pictures on the side of the road and one wonky christmas tree. I'd love to go a big city to see the light display.

Thanks for posting my photos above. I'm glad you liked them. 🙂 It was a great idea you had to have people send you their Japanese illumination photos, and I look forward to seeing the other people's photos. 🙂
