*Please name the title of your email as “Free Kawaii Giveaway”.

*In the email you are required to cover the followings.
1: Your name (nickname at this moment is OK. If you win, I’ll ask your real name to ship the gifts to.)
2: Gender (male or female) and Age Group (teens/20s/30s/40s/50s/60s and over)
3: Email address to be contacted.
4: (URL of your blogpost or your twitter if only you did something for double chance.)

8: Which prize do you want if you win the contest?

*Please note your personal information is NEVER shared with anyone else, and the collected infromation is only to be used for this contest and should not be used for any other purposes.

Background to be explained to you
OK, it’s a bit of bother you have to answer all those questions. The thing is that I want genuine feedback from my readers to improve “Tokyo Kawaii, etc.” to the next level. To subscribe to Tokyo Kawaii, etc. is NOT a must to enter this contest. It’s your choice, please do as you like. I want to hear genuine voices from my readers. That’s it. 🙂

Who can join?
Anyone, it doesn’t matter where you live in. This giveaway is open worldwidely.

What is the prize?
There are 7 options of the prize you can choose from should you win the contest. Each prize is worth USD20+. As I wanted to suggest more options to you while reducing my risk, I decided to go shopping after I confirm the winners. 😀 That’s why some items may be replaced by other things. You know for example figures or 2nd hand books are sold as first-come-first-served. Shops could take inventory and some products maybe replaced by new ones. So please don’t think that the winnders can get exactly the same thing as in the photos in this post. But don’t worry I will try to choose something as close as sample photos! 😉

Best Contribution Prize (7 options)
Prize Option 1: Hello Kitty/or Rilakkuma & Lovely Goods Prize
Below pictures are the examples of this prize.

Hello Kitty goods are everywhere in the world today, thus it will be Tokyo Limited Edition that cannot be purchased from anywhere but Tokyo!

Rilakkuma goods can be from a Rilakkuma Shop in Tokyo.

It’s my Swimmer pouch as an sample, but I’ll get the one as kawaii as this! ^ ^

A mini towel from OUTLET store.

Or a cute stationery or sticker from Swimmer or somewhere.

Prize Option 2: Japanese Snack and Food Prize
Below pictures are the examples of this prize.

S&B ready-made Mentaiko sauce for Mentaiko spaghetti.

Prize Option 3: Kawaii Bento Prize
Below pictures are the examples of this prize.

Cute bento goods from 100yen shop just like this.

Prize Option 4: Deco Material Prize
Below pictures are the examples of this prize.

Are they called cabochon? I didn’t know the word, anyhow you know what they are. They are small deco parts for sweet deco! (Can be replaced by nail deco if the winner prefers that. ^^)

Deco stickers for Nintendo DS, hand mirror, decoden…anything!! 🙂

Prize Option 5: Japanese Toy Prize
Below pictures are the examples of this prize.

I even have an old post about this funny edamame toy.

Prize Option 6: Japanese Book/or Magazine Prize
Below pictures are the examples of this prize.
*The winner can choose the genre, whether it’s Japanese book, fashion magazine, or hair catalogue…etc.

Prize Option 7: Beauty Goods Prize
Below pictures are the examples of this prize.

Some CandyDoll or DollyWink products. (BTW the new lip gloss is to be released on 20th July 2010.)

And some cute hair accessory or compact mirror from Swimmer.

Who can win the Best Contribution Prize?
2 winners are selected from the participants, and they can choose 1 prize that he or she wants from above options.
(I’m thinking now that I can be so flexible with you so that you can choose gifts from among different prizes under the USD20+ budget. But that’ll be based on the discussion with the winners later. ^ ^)

Thank-You Prize (no option)
2 winners. It’s something (eg. a keyring, a hair accessory, etc.) from Best Contribution Prize, based on your preferences as in the email question #8. You’ll see about that. (You’ll see when it’s delivered to you!)

How the winnder is selected?
For Best Contribution Prize;
Prizes are given to 2 persons who gave me the email that moved my heart/ gave me a big aha! moment/ most. Whether it’s positive or negative comment, if I find it a good opinion, the sender of the email will be the winner of this contest.

Prizes are given to 2 persons selected by randam drawing.

As for the Thank-You prize, there is a way to increase your chance double or triple by:
-Retweet :You can use the retweet button within the post (type to add “#FreeKawaii” on the tweet)or just simply tweet from your twitter account with adding “#FreeKawaii”.

*It’s up to you if you subscribe to Tokyo Kawaii, etc. or not. Subscription is not required to enter the contest. Just do as you like. It’s only your email that counts at this contest. 😉

    Hi Kirin-san!
    Just wondering,
If i post about this on my blog, how do i send u proof that i did? Would you like me to send you an email or send u the link to my blog?

    • kirin July 22, 2010 at 7:57 am #

It's in the question #4 when you post an email for an entry. Those who did retweet or wrote a blogpost can give me a link but those who didn't just don't need to answer question #4. Hope it is clear now. Thanks!

Have you got my email. Here's link to my blog: http://harlequin-maryashley.blogspot.com/

I'll check emails later but do you mean you wrote about the contest in your blog? (Well, as you wrote about my blog anyhow, it's OK though, but my original meaning was this. At #4 "URL of your blog or your twitter if only you did something for double chance". Here double chance means the italic letters in the post.)

Sorry if my explanation was confusing…and thank you for your participation!

Thank you Troo for your comment here. Actually I have this feeling already I am receiving feedback from my readers that is worth more than the money I spend on this contest. 🙂
